"Drawing made in Arkansas in 1926. I had come up river on a two boat from New Orleans to Helena, Arkansas where I took a train to Little Rock. The Train stopped over a road crossing and out of the window I saw this negro with his donkey cart on the hot dusty road. I made the drawing from the train window."
